What is your artform/vision?

I have recently started using acrylcs\canvas (previous photos) , but usually work with digital media. I post on my Instagram page @shanedeloretto frequently and also transfer digital art on different products at www.redbubble.com/people/sam-well, for purchase.

Who are your main artistic inspirations/influences?

Sacred Geometry, Mandalas, and Nature are my biggest inspiration! I came across the Flower of Life pattern at one point and the more studying and meditating on it brought me deeper into a subject (can I say dimension?!) that has influenced architecture, art, religion, politics, and cultures! In the beginning, the harmonizing, balancing, and almost mystical feeling of just looking at this form of Art was enough for me. But when I began drawing, it brought it to another level! More and more lessons of stories and famous paintings which used these geometries and the humorous thing is that people are not conscious of it! (At a subconscious level it is felt, of course.) Which is why millions travel to sacred locations around the world like the Pyramids, or the Grand cathedrals, in order to “touch” this infinite mystery!

I post a lot on the internet. The word noosphere means the area where ideas and thoughts are held. The NET is the closest “physical” thing we have of this. Just like engineers built palaces, mosques, sacred temples, on a physical plane on earth; it’s my wish to bring this geometry on the mental plane, that place of consciousness that exists behind every cell phone.

What does the phrase “Time is Art” mean to you?

Time is Art. Art is Creation and Destruction. That means every second there should be an awareness of what someone is creating. Starts with thoughts/feelings (sounds like a meditation lesson, forgive me) and working with the greatest artists of time, the Brain and Heart. (Or stomach, if you are a chef. Or legs if you are a runner. Or fingers if you are a magician. Lol #toeachtheirown)
